Fuel management

Track every litre from the tank to the consumer

One solution that brings together fuel tank monitoring, diesel dispensing for vehicles and equipment, and generator and drilling rig consumption at remote sites, in a single chain you can audit.

The idea

Where does fuel go missing? In the link nobody watches

Many companies monitor only the vehicle, while fuel leaves the tank or the pump with no record. So we connect all three links.

The tank

How much is there now? Remote readings of fuel and oil volume, with a low reserve alert.

Dispensing

Who took fuel, how much and when? A meter, recipient identification and a record of each transaction.

Consumption

Where did it go? Consumption metering for generators, rigs and equipment on site, alongside vehicle tracking.

Tank monitoring

A level sensor for fuel tanks, wired or wireless

We use Eurosens Dominator level sensors and choose how data travels according to the site.

Modular sensor

Measuring electrodes join up to 6 meters and beyond for deep tanks, and can be taken apart and cleaned.

For fuel areas

The sensor carries an explosion-proof certificate marked 0ExiaIIBT6 X, according to the manufacturer.

Wired over RS485

Connects to a MODBUS data logger, a local SCADA server, or a PC running Eurosens Monitor.

Dominator BT suits yards where cabling is hard: a built-in battery lasting up to 5 years and a range of up to 200 meters.

Reaching the platform

Readings travel through Bluetooth GPS trackers such as Teltonika, an RS485 tracker with a BT-COM adapter, or an Android device.

An onsite display

The Eurosens Tank Manager app turns an Android phone or tablet into a display for onsite stock control.

Dispensing

A private fuel station: two ways to control dispensing

Depending on volume and the control you need, we add a meter to your current pump or install a complete dispensing unit.

A smart meter on your current pump

Suits sites that already have a pump and tank and want records and control.

  • Flow meter up to 60 or 150 liters per minute
  • Eurosens Display RS shows the current portion
  • The portion can be reset while the total since installation stays on the server
  • Add an RFID card or key reader to identify recipients and block unauthorized users or those over their limit

Piusi Self Service HD unit

A dispensing unit for trucks, buses and off-road equipment at construction sites and transport and logistics hubs.

  • 80 l/min with one nozzle, or 40-110 l/min with two
  • B.SMART version identifies users and records each transaction in the cloud through app and web, with 50 users included, or a simpler electromechanical version
  • ±0.15% meter accuracy with MID 1383 and ATEX II 2G IIA T3 certifications
  • For diesel, biodiesel B100 and HVO/XTL, with an anti-tamper structure, gear pump and piston meter
  • 5-year or 5 million liter warranty on the hydraulic part, according to the manufacturer

Specifications come from the manufacturers, Eurosens and Piusi. Fuel storage and dispensing are subject to the safety requirements and regulations at your site, which we review before implementation.

Remote sites

Fuel monitoring for drilling rigs and generators in the field

Drilling sites have many fuel consumers and often no mobile network. So data is collected on site and then sent to head office.

Each consumer separately

A consumption meter on each source: rig engines, generators, heaters and burners, such as the Eurosens Delta sensor.

Tanks and engines

Level sensors in tanks and rev sensors on engines, to compare fuel with actual work.

Readings travel by radio from the equipment to the site control tower, with a range of up to 8 kilometers.

Local control tower

A PC with Eurosens Monitor or a local SCADA server shows charts and reports around the clock.

Link to head office

Data moves to the central server continuously, or in sessions over satellite when a connection is available.

Site generators

The same approach suits generators on construction sites and off-grid projects.

How we deliver

From site visit to first report

We start with what you have and add only what is missing.

01

Survey tanks and pumps

Tank capacity and depth, number of pumps and consumers, power and network availability.
02

Choose the equipment

Wired or wireless, a meter on the pump or a complete dispensing unit.
03

Install and calibrate

Install sensors and meters and calibrate the tank reading to its shape and capacity.
04

Alerts and reports

Stock limits, withdrawal rights, and receiving and dispensing reports.
FAQ

Questions about fuel management

What customers ask most before starting.

Install a wired or wireless level sensor in the tank. It sends readings to the platform or to an onsite display.
Yes, by identifying recipients with an RFID card or key and blocking unauthorized users or those over their limit.
A vehicle sensor watches the vehicle tank, and this solution watches your stock and dispensing. Together they reveal gaps between what was dispensed and what reached the vehicle.
Usually not. The sensor fits the existing tank after checking the mounting port and depth.
Yes. At remote sites data is collected locally and sent in sessions over satellite when available.

Tell us how many tanks you have, where they are and how fuel is dispensed today, and we will suggest the right solution.
